Needle your way to better health with acupuncture. This curative practice calls for the painless insertion of tiny pins into a specific energy point (Qi) of the body. This treatment process increases circulation and encourages the body to release corticosteroids (the body’s anti-inflammatories) as well as endorphins (mood enhancers and pain relievers). Acupuncture stimulates the body’s self-healing mechanism in a painless and natural way, helping to restore balance to the body, mind, and spirit. Treatments may include moxa (herbal therapy), cupping, and heat therapies, as appropriate for cumulative benefits.
Chinese Herbal Medicine follows the same philosophical and diagnostic criteria as acupuncture, but is intended for patients who do not wish to receive acupuncture treatments. Following an in-depth consultation a herbal formulation is custom-blended or prescribed to address the individual’s needs. Follow-up visits are recommended in two-week intervals until the condition is fully remedied.
Traditional Oriental Medicine recognizes that the body possesses a micro-current “circulatory system”. This breakthrough micro-current light therapy treatment helps to alleviate any pain or inflammation through electromagnetic intercellular communication – with a minimally invasive healing process and without the use of needles.
